Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC), a leading provider of retirement savings plans and stable value investment options, announced today that Rustin Regentz is joining the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Institutional Retirement Distribution team as a Stable Value sales director.
Built on the strength and expertise of Lincoln Financial, Stable Value is a flexible product that can be used on an investment-only basis, on other recordkeeping platforms, and as part of Lincoln Financial’s full-service products. Stable Value can help those approaching retirement protect their savings by offering competitive interest crediting rates, protection from market volatility and potential for improved earning power over other types of short-term investments.
“I am thrilled that Russ is a part of the Lincoln team, as we work to give more people access to stable value products,” said Gregg Holgate, senior vice president and Head of Institutional Retirement Distribution, RPS. “With approximately 10,000 baby boomers retiring each day, this is an entire generation moving into retirement that needs the protection stable value provides.”
Reporting to Brian Simms, assistant vice president, sales director, Regentz will work with advisors across the Central United States. Regentz joins Lincoln Financial from Columbia Threadneedle, and brings more than 22 years of industry experience to this role, having also held sales positions at Merrill Lynch and Principal Financial Group.
“Russ’s experience and expertise will be an asset to our team, as more employers are interested in helping their employees protect their savings and set them up for a financially secure retirement,” said Holgate.
