Ebbecke, principal of Stephen B. Ebbecke & Associates, has received Lincoln Financial Group’s prestigious General Agency Channel “American Award” for his distinguished reputation in business and the greater community.
The American Award, one of the company’s top honors, is presented each year to financial services professionals who combine business performance excellence, outstanding community service and commitment to family.

Ebbecke, a 37-year financial services industry veteran, founded Stephen B. Ebbecke & Associates in 1978. As a registered representative of Lincoln Financial Securities (LFS), Ebbecke has been a member of LFS’s Premier Partner group, an exclusive organization of leading professionals within the firm, since the program’s inception and served on the Premier Partners Advisory Council from 2012-2015. Ebbecke is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and has earned the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant.
Outside of his professional contributions, Ebbecke has been a long-time financial supporter of Children International, Villanova University’s Blue White Scholarship Foundation, and the Pennsylvania SPCA. Additionally, he serves as volunteer for the Frankford Boys Club in Philadelphia and New Jersey Elks Association in Wildwood, N.J.
A graduate of Villanova University, Ebbecke was captain of the football team in 1975. After graduating, he played for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1976.
Ebbecke and his wife, Marlyse, reside in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.
