Eastern Music Festival Thanks 2018 Sponsors!

Each year Eastern Music Festival partners with individual and corporate sponsors to raise over $1 million of our $2.29 million annual budget to present the Festival.

Because of these generous sponsorships, Eastern Music Festival is able to bring in world-class guest artists. This year's guest artist roster has included Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Anne Akiko Meyers, Micha Dichter, Kun-Woo Paik and Stefan Jackiw.

Eastern Music Festival is deeply grateful to the following businesses, corporations and foundations who partner with us in changing lives through music. "Now, more than ever, we are encouraged by the generosity of patrons from both the public and private sectors" Says EMF Board Chair Dr. Timothy Lane.

EMF Executive Director Chris Williams says: "Sponsors are the financial lifeline of EMF. Their investment isn't just in music and musicians; it is in the quality of life for our community. Thanks to their collective commitments year after year, we have been able to present EMF for 57 seasons and counting."

About Eastern Music Festival:

The 57-year-old Eastern Music Festival promotes musical enrichment, excellence, professional collaboration, innovation, and diversity through a nationally recognized teaching program, music festival, concerts and other outreach programs in Greensboro and the Triad. Each summer EMF attracts over 220 talented, dedicated young artists (ages 14-23) from across the U.S. and the globe to study and perform for five weeks with its 75-plus faculty musicians. EMF provides specialized courses of study for students in orchestral, piano, conducting, and classical guitar studies.

In 2017, 18,000 people attended EMF's 65-plus ticketed performances and events, and many more participated in community outreach performances at libraries, churches, senior communities, parks, etc. For more information about EMF and the 2018 season, visit EasternMusicFestival.org.
