Lincoln Financial Group’s Leadership Lab development program recognized in “Blended Learning” category

Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC) has been named a 2021 Brandon Hall Gold Award Recipient for Excellence in Learning in the "Blended Learning" category. This award is attributed to Lincoln’s LEAD Leadership Lab development program which included virtual instructor-led training, virtual reality (VR) training and multiple group learning activities.

This multi-year program included two major offerings: VR business simulations focusing on common challenges leaders must manage, including feedback and coaching, crucial conversations, and employee relations issues, as well as a comprehensive leadership program focusing on leadership accountability behaviors with guided discussions, reflection and action planning activities.

“Lincoln should be really proud of this recognition, not only because of the magnitude of the Brandon Hall Award but since it is the first leadership development award we’ve won,” LaKisha Scott, Assistant Vice President, Talent Management, Lincoln Financial Group, says. “It means we’re really taking time to invest in our leaders and it’s being recognized. We’re ahead of the game in innovation for learning, and this signifies creativity and innovation at Lincoln.

The 2021 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards are given for work in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Sales performance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Future of Work.

“Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards in 2021 provide much-needed and well-deserved recognition to organizations that went above and beyond to support their stakeholders during the unprecedented disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Rachel Cooke, chief operating officer and leader of the HCM Excellence Awards Program for Brandon Hall Group.“The awards provide validation of best practices in all areas of HCM at a time when they have never been more important to employers, employees and customers.”
