Company has once again been recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation with top marks in its annual scorecard and named Best Places to Work LGBTQ equality

RADNOR, PA, - Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC) proudly announced today that it received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. This latest recognition marks the sixth year the company has been recognized by HRC, and the second year in a row they have received a perfect score, and been named the best place to work for LGBTQ equality.

"Year-over-year the Human Rights Campaign challenges organizations to be bolder and better, and it is an honor that our practices have been recognized with a 100 percent score on the CEI for the second consecutive year," said Allison Green, senior vice president and chief diversity officer for Lincoln Financial. The 2017 CEI rated 1,043 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.
