RADNOR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC) has announced that Pearl Sumathi joined the organization as vice president of Talent Development, effective today. She reports to Jen Warne, senior vice president of Talent at Lincoln Financial Group. In her new role, Sumathi will lead the company’s enterprisewide learning and leadership development programs.

Sumathi joins Lincoln Financial from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Executive Education department, where she served as a director. In her role, she consulted with Fortune 500 companies on the design and development of high potential talent, as well as mid-level/executive leadership programs. Prior to joining the Wharton Executive Education department, Sumathi held various human resources, talent management, and leadership development positions with Infosys Technologies, Fujitsu America, and Mphasis, an HP company.
Sumathi earned a doctorate degree in education with specialization in organizational learning from the University of Pennsylvania.
