Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC) recently introduced Lincoln LifeReserve® Indexed UL (2011), issued by The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, Fort Wayne, Ind. Designed for the accumulation of assets along with life insurance protection, Lincoln LifeReserve® Indexed UL (2011) uses the S&P 500 Index to credit interest through the policy’s three optional sub-accounts, and each is guaranteed to credit a minimum interest rate of one percent irrespective of the index performance. In addition to the three indexed accounts, Lincoln LifeReserve® Indexed UL (2011) also offers a fixed account option.

Lincoln LifeReserve® Indexed UL (2011) offers a source of tax-advantaged income for expenses such as paying for college or to supplement retirement income. By using the S&P 500 Index, clients have upside account value growth with protection from downside risk when the market declines.
