Flexible Employee-Paid Benefit Allows Employers to Build a Plan Unique to the Needs of their Business and Workforce

Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC) today announced the introduction of Lincoln Critical Illness Insurance, a flexible employee-paid benefit allowing employers to configure a plan that offers their employees more choices to elect coverage that better suits their individual needs. Through Lincoln Critical Illness Insurance, employers may customize protection for employees with a choice of benefit amounts and a wide variety of care categories including heart, cancer, organ, quality of life and child.

Through the Lincoln CareCompassSM foundational benefit, a robust offering of care advocacy and wellness services are standard on all critical illness plans. This unique offering provides employees with a cash benefit for health assessments and child care expenses; it also provides health advocate services, travel assistance and various additional support services, many of which employees and their families can use even if they’re never critically ill.
