Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer Allison Green Johnson assumes leadership of the company’s Corporate Responsibility area and is appointed President of the Lincoln Financial Foundation
RADNOR, Pa., August 1, 2022 – Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC) has appointed Allison Green Johnson, senior vice president, chief diversity officer, to assume leadership for the company’s Corporate Responsibility organization, including the Lincoln Financial Foundation, in addition to her current responsibilities leading the office of diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I).
In her expanded role as head of corporate responsibility and president of the Lincoln Financial Foundation, Green Johnson will provide strategic oversight for the company’s philanthropic efforts, and the Foundation’s mission to build stronger communities through nonprofit partnerships in financial wellness, education, and human services.

In 2009, Green Johnson joined Lincoln as its chief diversity officer. In this role, she is responsible for diversity, equity and inclusion strategy and implementation, as well as leadership of employee engagement initiatives helping shape company culture.
Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles in business operations, management consulting, organizational development and design and talent management, and diversity-focused leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Vanguard, The Hay Group and State Farm. Green Johnson earned her B.A. degree in psychology at Spelman College, and her M.A. in counseling psychology at Howard University.
Green Johnson is currently involved with several Chief Diversity Officer roundtables, and a member of the World 50 Inclusion & Diversity Impact community, the i4cp Diversity Board of Directors, and Board Development Committee for Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Howard University.
