Daniel Herr is senior vice president, Annuity Product Management in the Annuity Solutions division of Lincoln Financial Group. Herr currently leads the Annuity Product Management team for fixed, fixed indexed, registered index linked and variable annuities.
He is responsible for product design, development and implementation, product management and strategy, market insights, innovation and the competitive positioning of all individual annuity products, features and services offered through a variety of distribution channels. With 36 years of industry experience, 30 of them being on Lincoln’s Annuity team, Herr can talk about industry trends related to the annuity product landscape, opportunities and challenges facing the industry and the importance of developing diversified retirement portfolios that provide strategies for both accumulation and income distribution.
